'The Batman' shoot stalled after English actor Robert Pattinson contracts COVID-19

Recently, 'The Batman' went on the floors at a studio in London. Days after, Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson has tested positive for the coronavirus. As a consequence, the filming of the much-awaited Warner Bros. production has come to a halt.
As per a statement by the studio, Pattinson is "isolating in accordance with established protocols". At first, the studio didn't reveal the name of the individual who was tested positive for COVID-19. Vanity Fair broke the news that it was Pattinson.
As soon as the news came out, many took to social media to wish the actor to get well soon. Going by early reports, Pattinson is asymptomatic.
As for 'The Batman', it has been directed by Matt Reeves. The hero will be seen on a vigilantist mission to solve a series of gruesome serial killings. The film of the 34-year-old Pattinson will hit the screens in October 2021. It has been postponed by about 15 months due to the pandemic.
