People are over the country are intrigued by the trailer of 'Ok Computer'. India's first sci-fi comedy feels like a breath of fresh air amidst a pile of generic films and shows. Apparently there's a visionary mastermind behind this show and he is none other than Anand Gandhi. Anand devotes himself completely to everyy project that he works on and the result is always stunning. His films like 'Ship Of Theseus' and 'Tumbbad'.
A source close to Anand said, "Anand Gandhi is that prolific filmmaker who invests a lot of time in research and development before he starts shooting it. With Tumbbad he took almost 6 years and Ship Of Thesus (his first film) took 7 years to complete the heavy research that was needed to develop the project."
The source further revealed, "For Tumbbad, 50 lanterns and lamps were used for several scenes to maintain the authenticity of the period film and he waited for the rainy season to arrive, to actually shoot in real rain— so nothing fake was a part of the process. This time, with Pooja and Neil they have taken almost 5 years to complete their research and put together a filmography which is subtle, easily interpreted as well as thought provoking- India's first Sci-fi comedy thriller, Ok Computer."
His latest venture 'Ok Computer' is being helmed by director duo Pooja Shetty and Neil Pagedar and it has a stellar cast of Radhika Apte, Vijay Varma, Jackie Shroff and Rasika Duggal among others.
