The Amitabh-RGV tiff

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,March 05 2008]

The 'Sarkar Raj' team seems to be making headlines these days almost on a daily basis. This RGV film that is considered to be a sequel to its previous 'Sarkar' stars the Bachchan clan with Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles.

We had reported earlier that 'Sarkar Raj' will be Abhishek's first film releasing after his marriage with Aishwarya Rai, and Big B is very concerned of each and every aspect involving his scenes. That is why it is believed that Bachchan senior wanted RGV to redo a few scenes involving Abhi and him. But the director is very happy with the scenes that he has shot and is not very keen on redoing the scenes.

It seems that Amitabh had even given a few of his dates to the director in February, and there was news doing the rounds that the release of the film will be delayed but the director Ram Gopal Varma has clearly stated in a recent interview that the release of the film will not be delayed.

With Amitabh having one say and the director having another we don't think things are going on well with these two stalwarts. We hope someone calls for a truce and things emerge peaceful for this duo.

The chemistry that the senior Bachchan shares with the kids is wonderful.

Bips wants well-defined roles!

To all you directors out there, watch out when you hand out that bound script to the bomb shell that is Bipasha Basu. We have seen enough of 'jhatak matak' of this sexy nymph and it seems like Bips too is sick of being in films just to raise the mercury by a few notches. A good decision Bips! We have found her in films just as a glam doll, for item numbers, in films where she is the only lad
