What is it all about?
Peter parker is back after five years and it's bigger, better and emotionally charged than its predecessor Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 3' by Marvel, Director Marc `Webb's' this installment with great casting and delightfully enjoyable `chemistry' of action and emotion in Sony Pictures `The Amazing Spider - Man 2' guaranteeing a hi five from kids and an acrobatic jump of joy for the diehards and similar buffs.
The Story
Based on the comicbook by Stan Lee, Steve Ditko writer James Vanderbilt returns in the team that includes Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orciand and Jeff Pinkner however the script finds its main lead from the Amazing Spider - Man (Alvin Sargent) missing in this Spider-Man's most important conflict within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that his greatest battle is about to begin. It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp.
What to look out for
It's more like coming back home then a continuation to the Raimi series so here we have a cute boyishly charmed Andrew Garfield as the Spider - Man.. Peter Parker's skateboard is absent but those Z-Boys posters in the wall are present in this installment.
Marc Webb reduces the action a bit for more emotion and character development especially Dane DeHaan as the young heir of Oscrop Dehaan reminding of a young Di Caprio and Jamie Foxx as the Spider - Man worshipper to a monster like Electro.
The high voltage action is crunchy and the 3D Dolby sound adds to the fury. Technically a marvel as it should be `The Amazing Spider - Man 2' charms extra with the undeniably remarkable chemistry between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Andrew excels as the charming boy next door Peter and man of `hope' at Times Square. Emma is sheer delight.
What not
It's more familiar and comparatively less ambitious. Some actions nerds may want more.
Conclusion : Designed to thrill, please and charm Sony Pictures `The Amazing Spider - Man 2' By Marc Webb is powered by super casting that fulfills the responsibility to satisfy the audience of this genre having all the `conventional' potential to turn infectious to its diehards.
