The activist is lying on Kashmir: Indian Army

Left activist and former JNU student union leader Shehla Rashid has tried to bring the Indian Army and the government into international disrepute by writing unabashed lies on Twitter. Talking about the "suppression of democratic rights" in Kashmir, Rashid has gone to the extent of alleging that army men are doing unthinkable things. "Armed forces are entering houses at night, picking up boys, ransacking houses, deliberately spilling rations on the floor, mixing oil with rice, etc," she tweeted out.
Her canards have warranted a reply from the Army, which said in an official rebuttal this much: "Allegations levelled by Shehla Rashid are baseless and rejected. Such unverified and fake news is spread by inimical elements and organizations to incite the unsuspecting population."
The hashtag #ArrestShehlaRashid has been trending on Twitter.
