Sukumar's heroes are 'hatke' for a reason. They reflect Sukumar in more sense than one. While we have to wait to watch Ram Charan's quirk(s) in 'Rangasthalam', the director tells a national daily that he (Sukumar) is always confused.
Even when he was a child, Suku would be confused while making choices. Tea or coffee? He is confused. Strong or light? He is confused. Less or more? He is confused. So, my friends used to tease me a lot, he says in his latest interview.
Probably, this is an offshoot of his perfectionist streak. This may also explain why he re-writes whole scenes (and sometimes re-shoots them at the drop of a hat) from time to time.
'Rangasthalam', starring Ram Charan and Samantha, will hit the screens on Friday.
