Kamal Haasan is bracing up to shed weight. Reason? '2.0' director Shankar has asked him to shape up suitably for his role in 'Indian-2', the vigilante drama that will be shot from December.
A trainer has been flown in from the US to help the Universal Star with the weight-shedding. It's learned that the versatile actor has gained flab ever since he fell from the stairs at his home in Chennai more than two years ago. He injured his leg and was advised to take rest for weeks. This is when 'Sabaash Naidu' had to be shelved temporarily.
As for 'Indian-2', which is a sequel to 'Indian' ('Bharateeyudu'), it will be a grand 2020 release. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and cinematography is by Ravi Varman.
