It's known that Dil Raju and Kamal Haasan were upbeat about teaming up with the top-class maker Shankar for 'Bharateeyudu-2'. In no time, this association fell apart like a pack of cards a couple of months back.

The ace producer, who awaits the release of 'MCA' on December 21, has given his final word on the issue. "Since I like Shankar a lot, I wanted to produce the film with him. However, ever since I ventured out, my friends and well-wishers were not favourably inclined. They advised me against it," he says in his latest interview.

When it comes to making wise decisions, Raju is the Amit Shah of Tollywood (to make a comparison that is in tune with the times!). So, the billion rupee project that he wanted to produce mightn't have suited him at all, many felt.

All is well that ends well. For once, dumping a project has turned out to be good news for a producer!
