Pawan Kalyan today unfurled the world's largest Tricolour at NTR Stadium, Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, the Jana Sena chief said that the National Flag symbolizes national unity. The event was held to commemorate the First War of Independence (1857).
"Although the political leadership has forgotten to pursue the cause of national integration, youngsters and students will take a vow to achieve it. There is saffron, there is white and there is green in the Flag. As Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan garu said, the Flag doesn't belong to any caste, community or religion. It belongs to everyone. Saffron doesn't symbolize Hindu religion. It tells how our political class should behave. Those who wear saffron robes are selfless. They don't think about their interests. The politicians too should be like that," Power Star remarked.
He commended the youngsters who came forward to organize the event. The Jana Sena leader asked those who gathered to witness the event to take a pledge for national unity. Vijay Kalam of Vibrants of Kalam participated in the event.
