That's why the push: Dhanush

Dhanush, who was in Hyderabad to promote 'VIP-2', said that the release date of his movie has been pushed to August because the Telugu-Tamil-Hindi drama needs a suitable date for all the three languages. "A mutual date is needed when you are releasing a movie in three languages. That's why the push. There is no other reason," he said.

Saying that it's a straight Telugu film (that is, it was shot separately in Telugu), the actor described Kajol as a legend with whom he didn't try to compete at all. About his sister-in-law Soundarya, Dhanush said that she is more like a best friend with whom he sometimes respectfully disagrees.

Does he think that the 'Amul baby' dialogue resembles his father-in-law's style in terms of the delivery? "When you are Rajinikanth's fan and an actor, traces of his style will be there in your acting," he said.
