Nagababu has slammed Balakrishna for a comment the latter made in 2012 against Chiranjeevi.

"In 2012, Balakrishna garu gave a very damaging statement. He said that Chiranjeevi doesn't match even the foot of NT Rama Rao garu. My brother reacted saying that Balakrishna is a kid who doesn't know how to talk. That's why I kept quiet. I can understand that he sees his father as the greatest. Every son can say that about his father. But to belittle someone is wrong. Can I say that Balakrishna is no match for Chiranjeevi's foot? How arrogant on your part to say such things? We (Mega brothers) are cultured people, brought up well by our parents," the Mega brother blasted.

"You can challenge Kalyan Babu politically, criticize his policies. But don't make personal comments. We will not keep quiet any longer. Chiranjeevi garu is like my father. He is a man of great character," he added.

"I have no political agenda. We haven't reacted for years to Balakrishna's comments because we are cultured. We took everything in our stride. When I react to what people say is my prerogative," he said.

"I request Mega fans not get emotional over Balakrishna's comments. Respect the fans of all actors, the fans of Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Venkatesh babu or anyone. We are all humans first," he signed off.
