Sometimes, when our directors want to project the villainy of a woman's character, they don't write pages and pages of dialogues. They ask her to smoke! That's what Catherine Tresa's character may be doing in 'Nene Raju-Nene Mantri'.

Asked as to why she is doing it in the film, all that the 'Gautham Nanda' actress is ready to say is that the situation demanded it. What is that situation or characterization is to be seen on August 11th. Catherine is strictly against smoking.

She also advises folks to stay away from drugs. "I want to say two things. Everyone has their own free will and choice. I am not judging anybody (Tollywoodians allegedly indulging in drug abuse). My opinion is that drugs are strictly a waste of life and time," she says.
