Rajamouli, who was recently to Pakistan to attend the Karachi International Film Festival on an invite, experienced goosebumps when he was in Lahore. Reason? You know it from him.
"This nondescript junction, Shadman Chowk in Lahore, is the place where Bhagat Singh was hanged by the British... Goosebumps," he says on Twitter.
There is a demand in Pakistan to rename the Chowk as Bhagat Singh Chowk. It was on 23 March 1931 that Bhagat, along with Rajguru and Sukhdev Singh were hanged here, which was then a jail.
