Speaking at the pre-release event of 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', Mahesh Babu said that it's the kind of movie his fans would like from him. He also profusely thanked Chiranjeevi for gracing the occasion.

"After the release of 'Okkadu', Chiranjeevi garu met me for two hours. I can't forget that day. During the making of 'Arjun', he told me that the industry needs an actor like me. After 'Pokiri', he spoke to me for two hours about my performance and the film. Those words shall always be remembered by me. After the release of my films, it's Chiranjeevi garu who first calls me up. I will wait for your call on January 11," he said.

"Actors of an earlier era used to be so dedicated. Vijayashanthi garu is still the same. Anil Ravipudi persisted till she accepted the role," he added.

Positive energy:

"One of the main reasons I could complete the film so fast is because of Anil Ravipudi. My fans have been complaining that I haven't been doing mass movies. I have to love the story for me to do a mass movie," Mahesh said.

The superstar thanked the film's cast and crew, especially Rashmika, Devi Sri Prasad, Rathnavelu, choreographer Sekhar Master and others.

The film will hit the screens on January 11.
