That flop pained me, my parents like anything: Naga Shaurya

Naga Shaurya awaits the release of 'Aswathama' on January 31. Produced by his home banner Ira Creations, the film is an emotional thriller.

The actor has revealed that he and his parents were disturbed after the disastrous performance of 'Narthanasala' in 2018. "When a death takes place in a family, imagine the silence at home. Such silence prevailed at our home for six continuous months. More than the fact that we lost money because of that movie, I was pained that I failed my parents' faith in me. That film was a mistake and such a thing will never happen," says Naga Shaurya.

The actor adds that he did that movie only because he had liked its story when it was narrated to him many years ago. "After my home banner scored a hit with 'Chalo', the director of 'Narthanasala' came to me and asked me to do the film because I had promised him. I can never imagine reneging on a promise," he adds.
