Priya Prakash Varrier is all set to debut in Telugu with 'Check', which will hit the screens on February 26. The actress has talked about what made her gallop onto the offer when it came her way.

In an interview, the national crush of 2018 (remember the 'wink' video?) said that she had watched the Malayalam version of 'Manamantha' (titled 'Vismayam') in which her favourite actor Mohanlal played the lead protagonist. "It's such a special movie. And I couldn't say no when the director of that movie came to me with the offer," Priya said.

Priya is positive and is also looking forward to the release of 'Ishq' in Telugu. She awaits the release of a Kannada movie and also a movie in Hindi (the controversially titled 'Sridevi Bungalow').

As for 'Check', it has Nithiin in the role of a terror convict. Rakul Preet Singh plays a lawyer who believes that he may be innocent.
