Tharun Bhascker should learn from Kammula & Trivikram

Recently, Tharun Bhascker was uncharitable towards film critics when he said that they know zilch about screenplay writing, etc. He advised them to go through a film appreciation course. The comments have predictably invited a range of responses, most of them unfavourable for the 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' director.
"No film director who wants to build a long-lasting career in directing will ever lose his cool on a film critic's rating. By venting hatred against the film critics, Tharun is only going to invite their wrath. Tharun may have just slipped in form but he shouldn't bite at the reviewers for giving short shrift now," says Sridhar Sattiarju, a columnist.
He adds, "Directors like Shekhar Kammula and Trivikram Srinivas also weren't spared when they delivered duds. Shekhar took the criticism in his stride and delivered a fifty crore blockbuster 'Fidaa' in the gap that film critics almost wrote him off. That is what Tharun should do."
