Thanthonny
After the brilliant success of the action based movie `Puthiya Mukham', Prithviraj has proved himself to be a bankable star who can convert ordinary movies into bumper hits. Using this newly earned popularity of the young star, debutant director George Varghese is getting ready with a movie `Thanthonny'. A former associate to Joshy, George Varghese is planning to get things right by parading every commercial ingredient that works with the star at the Box Office.
The movie will have Prithviraj as Kochukunju, the youngest son of the Vadakkan Veetil family. He is a rebel lad who likes to live a life as he pleases and lives up to the title of the movie. His wayward ways had thrown him into troubles, many a times in the past, which becomes a serious problem to the family, especially his mother. The movie goes on to tell how some unexpected happenings make the young man to revive his ways and to turn a new leaf in life.
The heroine of the movie is Sheela Kaul who debuted into Malayalam with `Mayabazaar'. Here in `Thanthonny' she plays the role of Helen, a young scientist who is in all awe with Kochukunju.
The movie is scripted by T A Shahid who had earlier scripted for Prithviraj in `Khakhee'. Also in the cast of the movie are Kalabhavan Mani, Jagathy Sreekumar, Saikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Captain Raju and Vijayaraghavan. Tej Mervin scores the music for 'Thanthonny', while Sajith Menon has handled the cinematography. Produced by Shahul Hameed Marikar, the film will release this month.
