‘Thank You’ Teaser: Multiple phases, shades, & looks

In ‘Thank You’, Naga Chaitanya has played a coming-of-age role. The protagonist used to be a fun-loving, sport-loving guy as a college student. He has forgotten the little joys of life, abandoned hockey, and probably hates the pleasures of teen love. Avika Gor and Malavika Nair were madly in love with him probably before he started chasing wealth.

In the present, the lead man is seen as a rich, narcissistic, self-centered and money-oriented businessman who believes that he has done everything by himself, something that takes Raashi Khanna’s character to remind him. This flawed nature reminds one of Chaitanya’s character from ‘100% Love’. Probably, there is a ‘Maharshi in the making’ element as well.

“This is a journey I am embarking on to rectify myself,” the male protagonist says in the teaser. This journey is strewn with tourism, romance and probably charity as well.

Written by BVS Ravi and directed by Vikram K Kumar, this Dil Raju-Shirish production has music by Thaman. PC Sreeram’s visuals are fabulous. Dialogues are by Venkat D Pati, and Mithun Chaitanya. Lyrics are by Chandrabose, Anantha Sriram, Vanamali, and Vishwa. Production Design is by Raam Kumar. 

The film will hit the screens on July 8.
