At the recent IIFA Awards, Deepika was pleasantly surprised when John Trovolta complimented her in a public forum. He admitted that he loved the girl who appeared in ‘Ram Leela’. Elated and humbled by his gesture, Deepika was not expecting such a lovely compliment from the iconic star, John Trovolta himself.

Said a source close to Deepika, "Deepika wants to reach out to him personally and thank him." Deepika mentioned it to her team and asked them to try and source his coordinates. She wants to talk to him, take first hand feedback and more importantly thank him personally.
