Cinematographer – director Thangar Bachchan is all set to begin his next venture starring Sathyaraj and Madhavan. Meanwhile, the film-maker, who has a great interest in Tamil literature, has penned a novel titled 'Ammavin Kai Pesi' (Mother's Cellphone).

Speaking about his work, Thangar said, 'the novel is about a mother who has nine children. Amidst great difficulty, she manages to give them proper education and helps them come up in life. The children settle down in various places and start to earn their livelihood. The mother eagerly waits for a call from them. This forms the crux of the novel.'

Thangar, who had written novels like 'Onbathu Rupai Nottu', 'Kudi Mundhiri' and 'Vellai Maadu' before, said, 'I will pen the screenplay for my latest novel and hopefully it would be made in to a film, very soon'.
