Thangar Bachan has almost completed shooting for his forthcoming film 'Ammavin Kaipesi', which has Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Iniya in lead roles.

"Around 95 per cent of the shoot is over. The rest will be completed very soon," the director of 'Azhagi' and 'Solla Marandha Kadhai' says, adding: "The highlight of the film will be a song sans lyrics."

Elaborating, he says, "Music composer Rohit Kulkarni has perfectly blended folk and western music for Ammavin Kaipesi. His work will be talked about once the film hits the screens."

The film is an emotional story, which revolves between a mother and a son. How elders these days are separated from their children forms the crux of 'Ammavin Kaipesi'.
