'Thangalaan' directed by Pa Ranjith and starring Vikram in the lead is right on top of every movie lover's watchlist. The shooting for this magnum opus set in the 1800s at Kolar Gold Fields has been going on nonstop for the past few months. Right now the team is stationed right in KGF to can the most important action sequences and news is that it will be wrapped up by the end of this month. After this only about fifteen days shoot is left which will be done on sets at the EVP Gardens near Chennai and in Madurai after which the project will go into hectic postproduction.

The hot buzz is that the core crew of 'Thangalaan' who had a chance to view the the footage taken so far are raving at the world class standards of filmmaking by Ranjith. They swear that the film will satisfy both critics and general audiences to the max.

'Thangalaan' has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and stars Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathi and Daniel Caltagirone. Studio Green K.E. Gnanavelraja is producing this mega flick film on a big budget that will also have a 3D and IMAX versions when releasing worldwide later this year.
