Congress President Rahul Gandhi who's on a whirlwind election campaign tour, was in Tamilnadu yesterday, and while his Question and Answer session with students of Stella Maris college has been trending across social media, there's another video feauturing Rahul Gandhi and Thangabalu has turned viral as well for reasons they'd have never expected.

Rahul Gandhi was in Kanyakumari for a public meeting of the Secular progressive alliance comprising of Congress, DMK, MDMK and prominent leaders of the parties were present in the meeting. Rahul Gandhi had given a fiery speech, and Congress member Thangabalu was translating his speech.

During the speech, as Rahul Gandhi says "That is why respect the people of Tamilnadu", and Thangabalu translated the same as "Narendra Modi Tamil Makaludaya Ethiri" meaning, Narendra Modi is Tamil people's enemy. This totally unrelated and wrong translation of Thangabalu has been subjected to memes and trolls across social media, and the translation act has gone viral.
