Thamirabarani to flow on Pongal

Vishal's Thamirabarani is confirmed for a release this Pongal. Directed by Hari, the movie went to floors a couple of months ago.

Though it was said that Thamirabarani would be released only by February 2007, the director has gone ahead to complete the movie in just 73 days. But for a song sequence, he has completed the shooting.

Says director Hari, “We have completed the entire shooting. Post production works would commence this week and the first copy would be ready by the end of this month.”

Vishal, who had back-to-back hits in Chellamae, Sandakozhi and Thimiru, is hopeful that Thamiraparani would fetch him a good name.

Among other movies releasing for the harvest festival are Ajith's Aalwar, Vijay's Pokiri, Vijayakanth's Sabari, director Ameer's Paruthi Veeran and Vijaya T Rajendhar's Veerasaami.
