Thambi Ramaiah is not only a popular comedian in the Tamil film space acting with Ajith, Vijay et al, but he is also wielding the megaphone as the director for a film in which his son Umapathy is essaying the lead role.

The film has completed the post production works and also has passed through the censors. After examining the film, the officals at the censor board has awardded the film with a U certificate. In addition to this, the makers of ‘Maniyar Kudumbam’ has also revealed that the film will be hitting the screens on August 3.

The film also has an ensemble cast of Yaashika, Samuthirakani and Mridula Murali as well. It is also worth mentioning here that Thambi Ramaiah who has written the story, screenplay and the dialogues for the film has also composed the music for ‘Maniyar Kudumbam’.
