The 2003 flick Boys directed by grand maker Shankar, was a complete deviation from his brand of vigilante flicks with relevant social message, and was a complete youthful entertainer that is currently being celebrated by youngsters whenever it is telecast on TV, though the movie did not work wonders at the box office during its release.

The movie launched the careers of Siddharth, Bharath, Nakul, S Thaman, Manikandan and Genelia D'Souza and also starred Vivek in a key role and had chartbuster album by AR Rahman. Even as Shankar is busy with Indian 2 with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal post the blockbuster success of another sequel 2.0 with Superstar Rajnikanth, here's a hint of another sequel.

Thaman, who is currently one of the top music composers of Tollywood had tweeted a photo with his Boys costar Siddharth, with the caption Boys 2, giving a hint of a sequel to the 2003 flick in the making. Though there has been no official announcement made on the project, it will be interesting to see if the Boys reunite after 16 years. It must be noted that 2 years back, Nakul had played an April fool prank posting a tweet that he had heard the script of Boys 2 and that it was excellent.
