Tamil superstar Vijay, whose 'Mersal' recently grossed Rs. 250 cr., is featured in a Standard III CBSE textbook in the context of dressing style in Tamil Nadu.

A still from his movie 'Velayudham' figures in the book, much to the delight of the Ilayathalapathy's fans.  It says that Pongal is the most popular festival in the Tamil state, besides educating the children that 'veshti' and shirt are the most popular traditional dresses worn by men.

Vijay will next team up with 'SPYder' director AR Murugadoss.  The film will be shot from January next.  It could hit the screens next Diwali in a big way.
