The 'Thalapathy 61' producers made out three important announcement about the first look, audio and theatrical release date of the film earlier today. The first look posters of this much expected mega budget film will be released on June 22, 2017, the audio release will happen in August and the movie has been scheduled to hit the screens in October.

If these fantabulous updates are not enough for the day, the makers have also revealed the details about the current and upcoming shooting plans for this Atlee directorial.

The official press release state that the shooting of 'Thalapathy 61' is currently happening in many grand sets erected by Art director Muthuraj in Chennai. Important male and female artists of the film are taking part in this schedule. It seems Kajal Aggarwal who plays one of the female leads in the film has also joined the 'Thalapathy 61' unit in this schedule.

The release also confirms that many important scenes of the film will be shot in Europe. Already two schedules have been completed in Chennai and one schedule in Rajasthan. Now the team is in its fourth schedule in Chennai. The next schedule is expected to take place in a European country.

A.R.Rahman is rendering the music score for this prestigious 100th film of Thenandal banner. The makers confirm that the audio release in August will be a mega grand function. Vivek is penning lyrics for all the songs.

Meanwhile the name of the production house has been changed as Thenandal Studios Limited. Previous it was known as Sri Thenandal Films.
