Veteran Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's son Pranav Mohanlal will be acting in a film directed by Jeethu Joseph of 'Papanasam'/'Drishyam' fame. The film was launched today in a formal pooja ceremony at the Kerala state capital Trivandrum. At the pooja function of the movie, the makers released its title and first look poster.

Touted to be an action thriller, the movie has been titled 'Aadhi' which comes with the tagline 'Some lies can be deadly'. It is worth noting that 'Aadhi' is the title of Thalapathy VIjay starrer that released in 2006. Vijay has a very huge fan base across Kerala.

The grand pooja function which was held in Trivandrum was attended by Pranav along with Mohanlal and his family. Mohanlal's upcoming film 'Odiyan' was also launched at the same function.

Pranav has acted as child artists in a few films and he has worked as Jeetu's assistant director in 'Papanasam'. 'Aadhi' will be his first film as the hero.
