Renowned filmmaker Shankar's first daughter, Aishwarya, married the assistant director Tarun Karthikeyan in a joyous ceremony on Sunday. Their reception took place on Monday in Chennai. Thalapathy Vijay's wife, Sangeetha, was in attendance for this event on the actor's behalf as he is busy shooting in Russia.

There were a lot of rumours recently suggesting that Thalapathy Vijay and Sangeetha are separated and living alone. Now, the rumours are proven to be baseless as Sangeetha Vijay is present at the wedding reception of Aishwarya Shankar on the actor's behalf.
