Ace filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is apparently a big fan of the 'Bigg Boss Tamil' show hosted by his guru Kamal Haasan on Vijay TV and Disney Plus Hotstar. He has been regularly casting former and current contestants namely Shivani Narayanan, Mynaa Nandini, Maheshwari and Maya in 'Vikram'. While he signed on Sandy to choreograph the important opening song in the blockbuster film, he has given the choreographer an important role of a psycho killer in 'Leo'.

Another notable 'Bigg Boss' star in 'Leo' is Janani who played the role of the coffee shop waitress. She appeared in the riveting coffee shop action sequence feauring Thalapthy Vijay, Mysskin, Sandy and Iyal. There were also shots establishing her bonding with Vijay and Trisha and the senior couple getting her married to her boyfriend.

Janani in a recent interview post the blockbuster success of 'Leo' has shared her experiences working with the mass hero. She stated that Vijay told her that her Sri Lankan Tamil accent reminded him of his wife Sangeetha and her sisters who spoke in similar style. The 49 year old box office king also shared that his wife also has her origins in Jaffna the home town of Janani.

Janani who was one of the star contestants of last years 'Bigg Boss Tamil 6' further added that Vijay is softspoken and gentle and respects his costars. She apparently was floored by his charisma during the making of 'Leo'.
