Thalapathy Vijay is happily married to Sangeetha Vijay since 1999 and the couple have two grown up children Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha. Sangeetha has been accompanying her hubby in most of his public appearances but she was conspicuous by her absence at the 'Varisu' audio launch function held on December 24th.

Similarly Sangeetha was not present at their close family friend director Atlee's wife Priya's baby shower function. Vijay attended the event and wished his 'Theri', 'Mersal' and 'Bigil' director and his life partner. The duo are also expected to reunite for 'Thalapathy 67'.

Social media went berserk and started reporting that Sangeetha is deliberately avoiding attending public functions with Vijay. However it has come to light that both Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha are now in London and their mother has accompanied them there and thats why she couldnt make it for the two important events.

Vijay who also went abroad with his family returned earlier since the shooting of his next 'Thalapathy 67' has begun in Chennai from today January 2nd 2023. The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is produced by Seven Screen Studios with Anirudh scoring the music and Rathna Kumar and Dheeraj Vaidi involved in the writing. The film is expected to star Trisha as Vijay's leading lady supported by Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Gautham Menon and Mansoor Ali Khan.
