Thalapathy Vijay is set to thrill audiences with his upcoming sci-fi action film, "GOAT", scheduled for release on September 5th. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film promises a series of surprises, including a CGI cameo of the late actor Vijayakanth. Vijayakanth's family has confirmed that they granted permission for the "GOAT" team to use his likeness in the film.

In a gesture of respect, Thalapathy Vijay, along with director Venkat Prabhu and producer Archana Kalpathi, visited Vijayakanth's residence in Saligramam, Chennai, last night. The "GOAT" trio met with Vijayakanth's wife, Premalatha, and sons, Vijayaprabhakaran and Shanmuga Pandian, and paid their respects by praying in front of the late actor's portrait.

The visit has garnered significant attention, especially given Thalapathy Vijay's impending entry into politics, a path similar to Vijayakanth's transition from cinema to political leadership in the 2000s. With Vijay set to unveil his party flag on August 22, this visit is seen by many as a symbolic gesture of admiration for Captain Vijayakanth.
