Thalapathy Vijay is all set to entertain his fans again with the family entertainer 'Varisu', a bilingual film directed by Vamshi Paidipally (Thozha fame). Rashmika Mandanna is pairing up with Vijay for the first time while Prakash Raj is playing the villain opposite him after 14 years in this movie.

Produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, Varisu is preparing for a grand release on Pongal 2023. According to the latest reports, the team has submitted the movie for the censor process today. Sources say that the makers are planning to launch the Varisu trailer with the exact release date after the censor is done. The trailer will be released on January 4th.

Varisu also stars Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, SJ Suryah, Shaam, VTV Ganesh, Sathish, Srikanth, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha, Khushbu, Ganesh Venkatraman and others artists in supporting roles. Thaman S composed music for the film and Karthick Palani handled the camera with editing by Praveen KL.
