It is already known that Thalapathy Vijay teamed up with Telugu makers for the first time in his bilingual film 'Varisu'. Vamshi Paidipally is directing the film produced by Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

The team is currently filming the final song sequence and the entire shooting will be completed by this month's end. Meanwhile, there were reports claiming that the makers are going to release the first single from 'Varisu' on Diwali eve. Even the film's music composer Thaman stated the same in a promotional event recently.

But according to the latest buzz, the 'Varisu' first single will not be released this Diwali due to some technical issues. Instead, the movie team has decided to treat the fans with a special poster with the release date for Diwali. The release date is revealed to be 11th January 2023 as per the sources.

Varisu star cast includes Rashmika, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, SJ Suryah, Yogi Babu, Shaam, Srikanth, Ganesh Venkatraman, Khushbu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha and others. Karthick Palani takes care of the cinematography with editing by Praveen KL and stunts by Ram Lakshman masters.
