Varisu is the latest bilingual family entertainer starring Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika in the lead roles. Produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vamshi Paidipally helmed the film, which opened to positive reviews from the audience and a monstrous response at the box office.

According to sources, Varisu is comfortably leading Ajith Kumar's Thunivu in Tamil Nadu, other Indian states and also Worldwide. The production house revealed the movie's week 1 official collection report with a brand new poster today. As per the official report, Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu has earned Rs 210 crore worldwide.

Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay has already started shooting for his next, 'Thalapathy 67', directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The much-awaited film will be officially announced in a week.
