Thalapathy Vijay started his bilingual film with director Vamshi Paidipally earlier this year. Titled 'Varisu', the shooting works for the upcoming project are progressing at a brisk phase. Rashmika Mandanna is paired with the 'Bigil' actor in this movie being made in Tamil and Telugu.

Now, we hear some hot insights about the movie from trusted sources. As per the latest reports, the entire shooting of 'Varisu' will be wrapped up in October third week. Vijay's character name in the film is Rajendran and he is the third son of Sarathkumar. Shaam and Telugu actor Srikanth play his brothers. There will be no political references or dialogues in Varisu.

Thaman has composed six songs in Varisu and five of them will be duet numbers. One song was shot in shot in a very costly set with foreign dancers. Prabhu Deva has choreographed Thalapathy in two songs. Sources also say that the composer has remastered Vijay's chartbuster song 'Aalthotta Boopathy' from 'Youth'.

The film is touted to be an emotional entertainer with the story revolving around the father-son relationship. The makers earned around Rs 200 crores from satellite & digital rights itself. Sid Sriram and Jonita Gandhi crooned the first single which is slated to be released on Diwali 2022. Anirudh and Thalapathy Vijay are also expected to have sung in Varisu.
