Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu gained all the attention after the lavish audio launch event last Saturday. The actor's fans are super happy with the movie team's promotional strategy till now. Now, all are waiting for the trailer and release date of the much-awaited bilingual film.

The latest reports suggest that Varisu is currently undergoing the censor process. The movie's runtime is said to be 2 hours and 48 minutes (168 minutes). There might be a few seconds/minutes difference in the duration after the censor. As per the trusted sources, the final content of Varisu is ready.

Reportedly, the exact release date will be announced after the censor certification. Meanwhile, it is being speculated that the Varisu trailer will be revealed on or after January 1 while another report says that the makers are planning to launch the trailer in the Telugu pre-release event, which is slated to be held in Hyderabad on January first week.

Varisu features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady while Prakash Raj plays the villain. The film also stars Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, SJ Suryah, Yogi Babu, Sathish, VTV Ganesh, Prabhu, Ganesh Venkatraman, Khushbhu, Jaysudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha and others. The movie will hit the screens worldwide on Pongal 2023 along with Ajith's Thunivu.
