It is already known that Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Varisu' will hit the silver screens in a month. The makers are actively promoting the movie with huge hoardings and posters on the metro trains. Also, the two singles from the album became a huge hit and topped the music charts.

A recent buzz stated that Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan will join Vijay in the Telugu pre-release event of the film, slated to happen in Hyderabad. Now, all eyes are on the magnum opus audio launch event of 'Varisu'. As per the latest reports, the team has planned a grand music function for the much-awaited movie in Nehru Stadium in Chennai on December 24.

The production house, Sri Venkateswara Creations, is also plotting to live stream the song release ceremony on Sun TV, according to the rumours. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. Vamshi Paidipally directed this bilingual film starring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Varisu will be released worldwide on Pongal 2023 (January 12).

The film also stars Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, SJ Suryah, Prabhu, Khushbhu, Jaysudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha, Ganesh Venkatraman, and others. Thaman is composing the musical score for 'Varisu' with cinematography by Karthick Palani, lyrics and additional screenplay by Vivek and editing by Praveen KL.
