Thalapathy Vijay will be next seen in the family entertainer 'Varisu', which is all set for a grand release on Pongal 2023. Vamshi Paidipally directed this bilingual film produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie's lavish audio launch ceremony will be telecasted on Sun TV tomorrow as a New Year special.

According to sources, the movie team is planning to launch the much-awaited Varisu trailer on 2nd January 2023. Nandini Rai, an actress from the film's star cast, confirmed in a recent interview that a massive pre-release event for the Telugu version, 'Vaarasudu', is set to happen in Hyderabad in the January first week.

The actress added that Thalapathy Vijay may join the cast & crew at this event. Meanwhile, we already reported to you that Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan is expected to attend the pre-release function as the chief guest. A report says that the Varisu trailer will be launched during the Hyderabad event.

Varisu stars Rashmika, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Srikanth, SJ Suryah, Ganesh Venkatraman, Yogi Babu, Sathish, VTV Ganesh, Khushbu, Sangeetha, Samyuktha, Prabhu, Jayasudha and others in key roles. Thaman composed the musical score for the film with visuals by Karthick Palani and editing by Praveen KL.
