The revealed title, 'The Greatest of All Time,' encapsulates the grandeur of the film. The poster showcases Vijay in dual roles, with a younger counterpart engaging in a fist bump with the elder character, both adorned in striking uniforms. A fighter plane soars above them, and a parachute lies gracefully in the background. The poster is enriched with a poignant tagline, proclaiming, “Light can devour the darkness, but darkness cannot consume the light.”
On December 31, Archana Kalpathi chose X (formerly Twitter) as the platform to unveil the film's first look and title, expressing, "Our Thalapathy is the Greatest Of All Time (sic)."
Amidst earlier speculations that the film might be titled 'Boss' or 'Puzzle,' Archana Kalpathi dispelled the rumors on X, teasing the audience with the promise of something extraordinary from director Venkat Prabhu. In her words, "Just saw all the updates. Thank you for the love. Keep calm and wait for the real one very soon @vp_offl is cooking something special. It is definitely not Boss or Puzzle! 'Thalapathy 68' promises to be an action-packed extravaganza, skillfully crafted and helmed by the visionary Venkat Prabhu. The stellar cast includes Thalapathy Vijay in the lead, supported by a constellation of stars such as Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, and Yogi Babu.
