Kamal Haasan in a recent interaction on social media on a question about Thalapathy Vijay’s possible political entry, welcomed it stating that the mass hero is like his younger brother whom he and the people adore. Though the Makkal Neethi Maiam leader generally stated that Vijay should enter politics, some sections of the media are reading it as Kamal inviting Vijay to join his party.
Reports are coming in that Vijay called Kamal and thanked him for encouraging his political entry and the duo also spoke for a few minutes about other happenings. It is uncertain when Vijay will become active in politics and if so whether he would support his senior colleague who he respects very highly.
Vijay is currently shooting for ‘Sarkar’ directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures in which Keerthy Suresh is playing his romantic interest. Kamal apart from hosting the ‘Bigg Boss 2’ Tamil show is getting ready to release ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ on August 10th. He will then shoot the remaining portions of ‘Sabaash Naidu’ before beginning Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’.
