Thalapathy Vijay fans already have a lot to cheer as the mass hero's 'Varisu' will be hitting the screens in exactly a month from now on January 12th 2023 ahead of Pongal. The film directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

Vijay will also soon begin shooting for the most awaited project 'Thalapathy 67' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The new age multistarrer with music by Anirudh is produced by Seven Screen Studios and reportedly stars Vijay, Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautham Menon and Msykkin among others.

It has been widely reported that Vijay will be teaming up with director Atlee for 'Thalapathy 68' likely to be produced by Sri Thenandal Studios. Now there is a hot buzz in Kollywood that the charismatic hero has okayed young director Pradeep Ranganathan for a new project as well which could be 'Thalapathy 69'.

According to the sources the Vijay-Pradeep Ranganathan project will be bankrolled by AGS Entertainment and will be a SciFi adventure film that requires a very high budget. More details on this exciting project is awaited. The young filmmaker already revealed that he had narrated a script to Vijay. AGS has already made 'Bigil' starring Vijay.

Pradeep Ranganathan and AGS recently delivered 'Love Today' which turned out to be one of the biggest hits in recent times considering that it made more than ten times its budget at the box office. The youthful romance had Pradeep himself in the lead with Ivana, Radhika Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Sathyaraj in the cast. Incidentally a Vijay-Suvalakshmi film with the same title released in the year 1997 which was produced by Super Good Films and directed by Balasekaran.
