As part of our Thalapathy Vijay birthday celebration we are taking a look at the strongest sentiment that the most loved hero has in real life that has reflected in his films.  It is common knowledge that Vijay had a younger sister Vidya who unfortunately passed away in her childhood leaving the entire family in grief.  The Thalapathy was very fond of her and missed her and still misses her badly.  It is said that his daughter's name Divya is derived from Vidya's name.

Thalapathy Vijay always falls for the "Thangachi sentiment" and that is how director Perarasu attracted him with the story line of 'Thirupaachi' that had the brother sister bonding at its core.  Similarly 'Sivakasi' also had pinch of sister love in it.  'Thuppakki' though an action entertainer had a very cute brother sister episode and the pulses raced when he knowingly puts her in danger and rescues her.

In 'Theri' too though Viay's character does not have a sister he assures the dying rape victim as a brother that he would avenge her.  The famous dialogue that Vijay speaks to villain Mahendran also will emphasize the fact that his character Vijayakumar is bringing him down because of that foster sister who died.

As far as fans are considered most men and women call Vijay "Annaa" and he too considers all of them as his brothers and sisters.  We can easily conclude that the strongest sentiment of Thalapathy Vijay is the sister sentiment.
