Thalapathy Vijay is renowned for his philanthropic activities through his Makkal Iyakkam. We are all aware that VMI was transformed into his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam a few months ago. Over the past year, Vijay has been introducing several policies to help improve people's lives.

As the president of TVK, Vijay introduced initiated blood donation centres, free food centres and free education centres. The party also formed free legal counselling centres. Soon, Two advocates will be appointed in each police station on behalf of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. They will work on giving free legal help to the people and take care of party issues as well.

On the movie front, Thalapathy Vijay completed filming for director Venkat Prabhu's 'The Greatest Of All Time' recently. The biggie is all set to hit the screens on September 5th. He will be joining hands with director H Vinoth for 'Thalapathy 69' which is said to be his last film. The actor will venture into full-time politics before the 2026 state elections.
