Actor Thalapathy Vijay is set to venture into full-time politics before the 2026 state elections. Members of his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party are actively engaged in welfare activities under Vijay's guidance. On May 28th, World Hunger Day, TVK cadres served free meals across all 234 constituencies in the state to ensure no one went hungry.
The party's general secretary, Bussy Anand, stated to the media, "Lunch was served to more than 3.5 lakh people in all 234 constituencies on World Hunger Day on behalf of TVK president Thalapathy Vijay. Not only in Tamil Nadu, our party members are feeding the needy in Pondicherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka as well."
"Also, Thalapathy's free food centers, which provide free breakfast to people, have been operating in over 23 places for a few years now," added Bussy Anand. Photos and videos of TVK providing free meals to people all over the state have been going viral on social media since last night. The actor is busy with his ongoing film 'GOAT' now.
