Young Chennai techie Subashri lost her life tragically due to a huge banner that dislodged on a busy road and the fight against the culture has gained momentum with many politicians who need it the most discarding it.
In the Kollywood front Thalapathy Vijay has sent a circular through his fans club president Bussy Anand requesting fans not to put up banner and cutouts henceforth for his movies and especially asked them to completely avoid them on the 'Bigil' audio launch on September 19th.
Similarly Suriya during the 'Kaappaan' press meet has told his fans that it is not necessary for them to take him to the people through banners and instead to spend the money on education to the needy. Both the superstar's fans have responded positively and have decided to divert the funds to social causes. Suriya's 'Kaappaan' hits the screens on September 20th while Vijay's 'Bigil' is the main attraction for Diwali 2019 in the end of October.
