Thalapathy Vijay regulates his fan clubs - Political entry soon?

In the past few months, Rajini, Kamal and Vishal have started their definitive march towards politics and are actively involved in gathering their followers with the coming assembly elections in mind.  It has always been rumored that Thalapathy Vijay too has his mind set on public life but he has never made any official announcement about the same and has avoided the question in any press interaction.

However the groundwork that Vijay's camp has done points to the mass hero entering politics soon.  A new website for Vijay Makkal Iyakkam has been active since September 2017 and the district heads of all the fan clubs across the state have been involved in digitally recording members and issuing identity cards to them.  An Android App too is in force but sources close to Thalapathy when approached by us however play it down stating that they have only embraced technologial advancement to regulate the fan clubs and politics is secondary.

Vijay is currently shooting for 'Thalapathy62' directed by A.R. Murugadoss in Kolkata, a thriller film in which Keerthy Suresh plays his love interest which will hit the screens on Diwali 2018.
