Thalapathy Vijay's mass speech at the 'Bigil' audio launch that happened on September 19th has become the number one trending topic on social media platforms. Among other things, VJ Ramya quizzed the mass hero what his opinion is about the fans wars on social media that has turned ugly in recent times.
Vijay first jokingly pointed out to Ramya that she has put him in an uncomfortable situation but on a serious note he advised his fans that its ok to indulge in fan rivalry as long as the fun element is there. But when the limits are crossed the person whom they are trying to please by indulging in such wars themselves will stop liking what they do. In other words Vijay stated that he or his rival Ajith would only tolerate fans when they are within the boundaries of decency.
One more example that Vijay quoted is that the legendary MGR when he was the Chief Minister was travelling in a car with a minister who spoke disrespectfully of the opposition leader Karunanidhi to please MGR. However, MGR reacted differently and scolded the minister that even though Kalaigniar and himself have a lot of difference of opinions and policies he is such a great man and should not be spoken of illy and asked the minister to get out of the car at that very moment.
What Vijay has tried to imply by quoting the above incident is that even though Ajith is his rival he respects him and does not want to hear bad things about him from his fans. That is truly awesome indeed and hope the fans take heed.
